Did Facebook Change It’s Name?

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are all owned by the same company, and will be keeping their individual names moving forward. However, Zuckerberg the creator of Facebook has said he wants to create a universe of sorts, that houses all of these platforms under one name, Meta.
Zuckerberg insists that Meta will represent the future of these platforms, rather than focusing on their current status. The metaverse, the name for a shared online 3D virtual space that a number of companies are interested in creating as a sort of future version of the internet, that’s right other companies may be allowed to collaborate with the metaverse offering a wide variety of platforms and applications we don’t currently see under roof. Mark Zuckerberg can be quoted saying, “We believe the metaverse will be the successor to the mobile internet.” I suppose only time will tell the woes or successes of this change.
